He is a Christian??

I've been a Christian for over 3 years. Hard to believe its been that long. I still have people questioning my faith, thinking its all a fake or just for show. They have every right to do so, especially since I used to be very critical of any religion. But God gave me life and saved me just as I was about to slip off the end of my rope. Now I serve and surrender to Him completely.

Along this spiritual journey, I've learned much. The following are some of my observations from the past 3 1/2 years:

* Don't put all your faith in humans. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

* If someone hurts you, forgive them and both of you will be set free.

* If someone speaks harshly of you, pray for them.

* There is amazing power in prayer. Pray everyday.

* You don't have to be on your knees bedside to pray. Driving alone in your car is also a great time.

* If someone questions your faith, let your actions and not words of rebuttal answer them.

* If you ask Him, the Lord will make a way.

* It's extremely hard to wait on the Lord.

* At times, the Lord will move in your life in ways that are confusing. But He knows all, so go with the flow and let His plan unfold. Again, the hard part is waiting for that plan to unfold.

* It's amazing to see the Lord move in your life.

* Some "Godly" people, are not all that "Godly".

* Give Him praise on the sunny and dark days. He's always by your side.

* It's very obvious when you meet someone that is full of the Holy Spirit and Anointed. They project a light and people are drawn to that light.

* God's grace is truly amazing and neverending.

* Read the scriptures everyday to keep your feet firmly planted on the rock.

* Careful of the company you keep and being led astray and your focus off Christ.

* We can get so caught up in religion, we lose our relationship with the Lord.

* When its all been said and done, it will still be about serving and pleasing the Lord.

These are just a few things I've learned and observed over the past three years. There are others, which I'll add later. Have a great and Blessed day.
