If there is one common thread to today's world it is that we are all too busy. Ask anyone and most will say there's not enough time in the day. Because we're so busy, we often overlook the effect we have on others.We were reminded of that very thing by a listener in Canada. The whole, ultimate purpose of Amazing Grace Radio is to build God's Kingdom as we travel through these last days before the return of Jesus Christ to this Earth. If one soul can be saved, it will be worth the effort. But often we get so busy we forget the potential reach of AGR. Recently, we received an email from a listener in Canada that caused me to stop and give God the glory for making this radio station possible. Here's part of that email...

Good morning,
 
I have to say I have been working from my house for a few months and I have been listening to ‘’regular’’ music through internet radio. I am also struggling with some problem with internet porn.  I have been praying for some changes in my life (my wife and I are really going to a rough time and I am loosing faith in my own capacity to succeed with my new business and I am really scare for my 4 kids). Yesterday, I ask my 7 year old daughter if she think that her mom & dad love each other and she told me no … it broke my heart. I ask her why she is thinking that way, her response was so touching, she said that my wife and I fight all the time and she is right.
 
I decide that my work environment and home need a change. Just before I start connecting to one of my regular station something in me make me realized what I have been told many time … if you want some changes you have to create some changes. I then search for Christian music and there you are Amazing Grace … I need an Amazing Grace.
 
Your music calmed me instantly and for my second day at work, I am listening to you. Even if we are approximately 1000 miles away from each other (I am from Montreal) it seems that I am already part of your community. I intend to listen to you as long as I need to do it. Your music and message is a shield over my computer and all the aggression that may come from it. Your music is also working in me to be calmer and to respond better to my wife if ever a tricky subject is brought up…. And it is working.

We are humbled by such an email...that this small ministry on the internet, which is part of Christian Outreach Church, has given hope and encouragement to someone. We give the Lord all the credit and praise Him for making all this possible. We serve a mighty God who is true and always faithful.

Please pray for the writer of the email and please pray for the staff and supporters of AGR. We are all too busy, but we must never lose the passion and the focus for bringing the good news of the gospels and the salvation that comes through Jesus Christ to the world.
