Remembering What He Told You To Forget-Pt. 3

Other than the Bible, probably the book I seem to quote quite often is Phillip Yancey’s “What’s So Amazing About Grace?” It was a book I read not long after my salvation and it came into my life at just the right time. It helped me better understand what Yancey describes as “Christianity’s best gift to the world-grace.”

For the past two days the discussion has been forgetting past failures and with God’s guiding hand, moving forward. It’s also with God’s grace that we move beyond the brokenness of yesterday.

Many live in God’s grace everyday. We also deal with guilt everyday. According to Yancey, “Guilt exposes a longing for grace.” I don’t deserve His grace, but it comes free of charge and without it many could never rise from a world of shame, remorse, self pity, and self hatred. Without the Lord’s grace and unconditional love this website, this radio station, this author would not exist.

Embrace God’s grace, accept His unending love. Walk in it daily, rejoice in it always.

We are indeed blessed and highly favored.
