~ Is God Faithful? ~

Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. [1 TH 5:24] [NAS]

 ~God is Faithful ~

I would like to answer the question today. How do we know about God and his faithfulness to us? Can we bank on what He says in the end? Let us look at the Holy Scriptures, the Bible; the Book of the Truth and what it says.

I would like to go over and comment on three things today, they are:

·         1st - God is not man - "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?  [NUM 23:19] [NAS]

·         2nd -  God does not lie - in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago,  [TIT 1:2] [NAS]

·         3rd - God always keeps His promises - Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.  [1 TH 5:24] [NAS]

How much of what we do is really motivated by an implicit trust in God’s Word? This is how we can tell whether we are living by faith, but we must be honest in our self-evaluation. It is easy to shade the truth through self-deception. We need to tell it like it is and let the chips fall where they may. Don’t read more into it than there is.

God is working behind the scenes to bring His purpose to the conclusion He has foreordained. In short, it says, “God controls the march of history.”
