~The Triumphs of Faith~ by Dewey Fox
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. [HEB 11:6] [NAS]
~The Triumphs of Faith~ Let me ask you this important question today. Where is your faith? Is it in Jesus Christ, the Creator of all things, or in some person, preacher or pastor, some government, your money or another god? Let me ask you again today this question, “Where is your Faith?” It’s important to know where your faith is. Think about the last time you had a problem or some situation. Who did you look to for comfort? Remember Hebrew 11:1, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [HEB 11:1] [KJV] Hebrews continues on about faith; it says, we have to have faith to believe that the world was created by God; by just speaking His Word. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. [HEB 11:3] [KJV] It’s impossible to please God without faith. We have never seen God, so we have to have faith to believe that He is. Hebrews confirms this in verse six. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. [HEB 11:6] [KJV] Hebrews Chapter 11 goes on to tell us about some of the great men and women of faith from biblical days, it says:
Faith in God alone will supply you the answers. The issue is not with God, but with our limited understanding of Him. Where do we get faith? According to the Bible, it comes from hearing. Go to Romans 10:17, So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. [ROM 10:17] [NAS] Get into your Bible today and listen to God, by reading His Inspiring Word! Amen!
